Service Description

Have you always wanted to do a pull up? Now is your opportunity to learn how to build strength safely using your own bodyweight. Calisthenics is a form of exercise using pull, push and holding positions working on full body strength. Increasing or decreasing how much you use your limbs and levers to change the level and resistance level of the particular exercise. All exercises are scaleable and using resistance bands to assist you, changing the angle of the exercise or adding weight to increase how much strength is involved. A regular workshop once a month will give you ideas and tips for you to go away and practice at home with the opportunity to work 121 as well with one of the coaches. The workshops will include mobility, a range of exercises including a reps section, skills and stretching. Each workshop will include the fundamental elements of calisthenics but have a slightly different focus to each workshop so you are always learning and building strength no matter of your level. You will have 2 coaches on hand and a maximum of 12 spaces are available so you can have a good amount of attention. Your coaches will take you through a structured class and leave you feeling stronger than you did before. - Held in Andover (venue can vary and is visible on the booking) Class starts promptly please arrive 5-10 minutes before. PRE BOOK ONLY. No equipment required although a Yoga mat could be optional if you wish to use this rather than the floor. Also you can bring chalk if required. If you are suffering with a shoulder injury contact before booking to discuss. If you are not sure if Calisthenics is for you then get in touch. All exercises are scaleable and you will work safely whilst still reaching overload for your current level. You are required to fill in an online health form in before you can participate so book in plenty of time to fill this in beforehand. Cancellations need 48 hours notice.
